D’ Gap, BCCM Rainfield and KK Bread of Life are worshiping together and will explore how the 3 churches are embracing the apostolic and prophetic. Don’t miss this opportunity.

D = Disciplemaking and discipling (especially the younger generation)

B = Bible Reading (OT Historical books, Joshua – Esther and OT Prophets, Isaiah – Malachi)

E = Evangelism and Community Penetration emphasis

Praise the Lord for the 8 people being baptised on Christmas day and all who came for New Year Dinner and Service.

Praise the Lord for all who dedicated their lives to follow the Lord in 2012.

Looking forward

This year we are having a rest to distribute Chinese New Year goodies to all in Sri Kepayan. Instead, we will concentrate on visiting our community friends and oikos friends with a D’ Gap bag of goodies.

Andrea returns to KL on Jan 18 having served a 2-year stint with D’ Gap as Ps. Serena’s PA. The youth will bid ‘shalom’ on Jan 14 with a farewell party. D’ Gap will pray for her on Jan 15.

There will be an interchurch prayer gathering for our nation concerning our Jubilee year in Holy Seal, City Mall on the following dates:

This year we hosted our annual lantern making cum coloring competitions on:

Sept 10 (Sat night)

Some outstanding lanterns were created. One key to winning = involvement and help of a parent in this quest.

Our objective of connecting to communities has moved another step forward.

Around 250-300 people came for the event mostly from the Sri Kepayan community.

Sept 11 (Sun)

D’ Gap hosted a dinner cum a light program in the Sri Kepayan hall. About 250 people inclusive of 80-90 children turned up. D’ Gap is grateful for the timely help from our partner churches in BCCM Rainfield and KK Bread of Life who supplied extra manpower for strategic settings.

God is leading. What will continue?

1. The vision of of ascending the Sri Kepayan hill to pray at the top continues. Pray some will be called to use the hill as means of exercise and yet the ultimate objective is to cover Sri Kepayan with prayers until God establishes His purposes there.

2. D’ Gap has been collecting movies both in Chinese & English – good, clean ones. God has been impressing us to bring relevant movies into ‘open’ Sri Kepayan homes with the purpose of stimulating ongoing interest in the Gospel. A few homes are opening up.

Venue: Multi-Purpose Hall, Taman Sri Kepayan

We will also be having an appreciation dinner party for those who participated in the lantern making and colouring contest because they did not get to watch the short films. This will be a replacement for our usual Sunday service.
